Trina's Unusual Day
When Trina tried to eat breakfast, she knew it was going to be an unusual day. The stool grumbled as she sat on it. The cereal jumped in and out of the bowl. The orange juice clung to the glass.
Trina decided she wasn’t hungry. As soon as she stood up, her stool scurried under the table. The milk carton slammed the refrigerator door. And the library book hid in the cupboard.
When it was time to get ready for bed, the toothbrush wouldn’t brush. The bathroom light kept turning off. Her socks wouldn’t stay in the hamper.
Trina climbed into bed, but it was hard to sleep. The covers pulled themselves onto the floor, and the night-light decided to flash like a lightning bug.
The next morning, Trina got out of bed and peeked into the kitchen.
In one to two paragraphs, write an ending for the story that solves the problem.
