As part of this year's homework schedule, I am asking students to dedicate 15 minutes a day to computer skills. Computer skills continue to become more prevalent in today's world. In an effort to meet student needs in an age where information is at their fingertips, we will begin to make computer skills a critical component of their educational experience. The following information will provide instructions for accessing the technology sites from home.
2.You will see a section that says "Student use at home procedures." Click the link that says FULL VERSION to get to the correct installer. TTL4 works on Macs and Windows machines. The download is large and will take some time to complete.
3. After you install the download, log in to the application. You will need some login information, some of which will be sent home by your teacher this week.
Your student's user name (their 9 digit student ID#) (same as the LearnZillion username)
Your student's password: six-digit birthday (i.e. 2/3/2003 is 020303) (same as the LearnZillion password) LBUSD's account code (will be sent to you in a separate email--we can't publish this code on a public website)
4. After the first time you login with your student's information, you will not need the account code again. As your student practices, his or her progress through the keyboarding program will be synced with the same remote server we use at school, so your student does not need to repeat lessons already learned.
Also, students can access technology skills practice sites from the lbusd website. These are the practice sites we are using in class. Go to: lbschools.net click on T Technology (Instruction) Click on Curriculum Documents Click on SBAC by Lesson Activities
